Mission for Good: Making a Difference Since 2017
A core tenet of Ratliff & Company is giving back to the communities in which we live and work.
Since 2017, our Mission for Good initiative has connected us with over 150 non-profit organizations. We understand the link between healthy companies, healthy organizations, and healthy communities. Mission for Good focuses our community engagement initiatives along with those of each individual employee in honor of their respective causes.
A yearly highlight is our summer community day, partnering with a local non-profit organization and dedicating time and resources to support their mission through hands-on service and meaningful connection. This cherished annual tradition emphasizes the power of teamwork, compassion, and community spirit.
Our journey began with a cleanup at Edgewater Beach, where employees rolled up their sleeves to preserve one of our city’s most beloved lakeside spots. Since then, Mission for Good community-day support has included:
- Volunteering at The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, helping to sort and distribute meals to families in need.
- Supporting families at the Ronald McDonald House, both in Cleveland and in Akron, lending our time at various events to create moments of comfort and joy.
- Donating reading materials to patients at UH’s Ahuja Medical Center, spreading encouragement and inspiration through the gift of books.
- Hosting a Water Day for kids at the Boys and Girls Club, bringing laughter, fun, and friendship to a summer afternoon.
Another cherished tradition is supporting scholars and their families from Open Doors Academy during the holiday season. Beginning in 2018, Ratliff & Company employees have supported 18 people each December with gifts, food, necessary supplies and holiday cheer.
Each project reminds us that small acts – when done together – create lasting impact. As we look ahead, we remain committed to growing Mission for Good, continuing to strengthen our community and to deepen our shared sense of purpose.
